For @Smallpoly's #spooktober contest. A muddy Polaroid picture, a journal, and an abandoned, but fully-stocked campsite were found near the water.

You open the journal and read, "Finally, I found and photographed the exclusive horse of legends. It actually seems quite tame; not at all like some warned. It is offering me a ride on its sparkling saddle. I will accept its offer, and log my findings shortly......."

You noticed the journal was dated 198_ (the last digit is torn off)
