why cant i leave

its not my fault

ive been down here forever

i dont control what you do

and you care about me

yet you keep pouring

pouring, pouring, pouring

until it is full

and i hold my breath

i try so hard

but when i drown you'll find it hard to get me out

and when you see me,

"why did you drown?"

but i cannot control that

i add to the water

but i am not the one who poured it
