Good morning, afternoon or evening, depending on where you are. So myself and the boyfriend just got back from a halloween even that one of the nearby theme parks puts on, and it was a pretty fun time, though perhaps a little more jump-scary than sctual scary. We had a bit of a hastle actually driving there but once we got there thing went a lot better.
We paid a little extra to get in early, so we has some food at a buffet, before opening got to go through a couple attractions with no lines, and during the buffet a bunch of the monsters come around to your table and do a little in-character banter. Overall the trip was a pretty good time.
My favorite thing was what they call “mazes,” which are these spooky winding walk-through attractions based on different themes like haunted hotel or an old folks home that has been taken over by giant spiders. The best ones had strong theming and told a clear story through the progression of the set design.There was also a circus show with some pretty great acrobatics.

That’s a pretty long intro. Last time’s riddle was “Haunting brass and accordion tunes echo etherly as paint gently flakes from wide eyed plastic horses, and the laughing ghosts of children flicker just outside of the corner of your eye. What was once a menagerie of fun and games now lays in ruins.”

The answer, and today’s topic, is “haunted theme park” (+ carnival / circus / etc..).
