My interpretation of Cata. Description by St. Senan- “it’s eyes flashing flame, with fiery breath, spitting venom and opening its horrible jaws “. Lost images describe it with spiked back, scales, fish tail, nose curling up spirally and clawed forefeet
Some fishermen said it also had a seaweed mane and lives on the river Shannon

anyway drawing this with only with a description was fun- to help with my creativity :) Wanted to give more attention to lesser known irish tales <3
