That episode HURT man...
also, let me leave you with this thought,
Caine makes the adventures for the cast to go on, meaning that he set up everything in mildenhall manor...and that means that blud purposefully included kinger's trauma in the spirits' programming, so he meant to remind kinger of the fact that his wife is gone and he'll never get to see her again.
