The first major opponent of Ossa's; Goddfrey! A man who lacked a face after his passing, and so he created a machine that's hooked into his brain to let him see, as well as register threats and calculate an opponent's weaknesses. Goddfrey's battle style centres around speed and strategy! So, as you can see, he's quite the NERD. Ossa is completely inexperienced in fighting with magical opponents at the point where she fights Goddfrey, so his shadow magic easily catches her off guard. She has no real counter to it!
But Goddfrey is only the first real opponent of hers. He's nothing compared to the angel...
