Fly was an AU version of Neko's friend Flick. Fly sought out power, destroying many other AU Flicks and Nekos. She found the main universe guys and fought them, finding herself cornered by other surviving AUs. Finally defeated after taking the lives of some of her opponents, she loses her power and reverts to a child-like version of herself. Neko, merely inches from the killing blow, spares her. Knowing she's beat, both physically and in spirit, he lets her live with what she's done...
