bring dog or cat treats, and when they bark or meow at you throw the treats and say "Aww, who's a good boy?!?!" (or girl, or whatever the identify as)
if they start filming you, film them back
another thing you can do if they bark/meow at you, you can do what my brother does and say "..Did someone lose their cat or something??" or "...Did someone lose their dog or something??"
