I'm going to confess: I'm not a huge fan of how my art style was. I see people do it one way than another, and I try those ways and I don't think I enjoyed it as much as I thought I did...
Splendid (the character in this painting) was originally from my IPad, so I traced him on here. And yes, the colors and blush or whatever were also "traced" too

I totally get that feeling of not gelling with your own style.
I've done a number of drawings that I thought were technically impressive but didn't feel "me."
I hope you don't feel like your art is bad, though. Every time I see it it wows me. You've gotten me to like characters I otherwise wouldn't through style alone.

Don't worry, I don't hate my art. Just struggle to enjoy how or what style I enjoy while keeping it my own. I'm just experimenting for real this time around, so hopefully I'll find something ^^
