FINALLY
I DID IT
VELKHANA
At first, I wasn't really liking the shading, but when I added the green tinge and scoutflies, it felt right.
I couldn't do this in the same style as the other two monsters because of time constraints, so I did this in a sketchbook first.
This is a huge weight off my shoulders...

I should have made them blue... Oh no.
Maybe they are tracking something else.

I thought to comment on that, but decided it doesn't really matter that much. Besides, Velkhana is primarily blue, and the green scoutfly light gives this a bit more color diversity. They also glow red around danger, so that's another option that could have given this a strong sense of contrast. Oh well. You learn a lot from hind sight, and that's what I've come to love about growing and improving as an artist.
