Something I've noticed is that art skill isn't relevant to age, you can really be ant level of skill at any age and comparison can really knock your confidence

agreed! no offense to the kids, they actually been great! they've grown an awsome community on here! it just gets awkward sometimes having to be VERY contientous abt what i post, say, draw, ect. but finally! i have someone to relate to on an adult type level! ^^ cant wait to get to know u! u've already been so awsome! ^^
