also not to be insensitive but im just wondering if the colors3d! still works for u on your 3ds? im assuming it doesn't bc of the online service termination and it not working on my 2/3ds console but i've heard that on some 3ds consoles esp 2ds xl it still works for ppl w out requiring the console to be modded/hacked??

@lemurstripes hiii tyy! yes i use c!3d but my 3ds is modded n i use pretendo x) c3d did not shut down but since nintendo did shut down online servers u cant access it w/o modding your console

@lockjaw hii np <33 ty for the info! tbh ik modding seems super easy but im a little scared to try the approach esp as rn i don't have the proper devices. im also scared of getting it bricked incase of wtv. the method changes all the time however but ill def have to get pretendo on my consoles so im glad to hear that pretendo also has c!3d.

tbh idk why nintendo cancelled all servers for 3ds/2nd gen consoles, imo its like the worst decision they ever made.

ik the switch has alot of more immersive features nd games n i understand the graphics are better and that its a hybrid console and wtv bla bla,, but u jus can't get that 3ds experience out of the switch at all. besides as of rn on the switch eshop the majority of the games are shovelware and its not as fun to browse as on the 3ds. i mean the 3ds even had game trailers to download and stuff and overall it was sm more accessible ??

not to say the switch is bad at all however i feel like its stupid to disable one of the main fun/selling functional of an entire generation of consoles just because u want ur newest console to be a bestseller.

@lockjaw yeah the shovelware is an absolute eyesore imo!! and theres barely anything done to fix its so bad. ik i miss the themes sm <//33 i remember after may whe they finalised the termination,, i didn't rlly know abt it and i remember saving up enough on my mynintendo acc to buy some games and a few themes i wanted only to find out that i was unable to, for probably forever. they've deleted everything from the themes page and added 3 default depressing themes in its place.... :broken_heart:
