Yeah, being able to disable likes or even comments (SEPARATELY) sounds like it would be a very good idea and it should also remove a post from your liked list, as well.
It should be able to be turned on and off separately from the "edit" section of the modifying post screen.

Like, It should work as an unlike, essentially.:
Post (Liked) :right_arrow: {added to Liked posts}
Post (Unliked) :right_arrow: {removed from Liked posts}
Post (Likes removed or disabled[done by the creator of said post]) :right_arrow: {removed from Liked posts}

Yeah, although I would like to say this:
Aside from those evil jerks who like a post to harass someone so sweet simply cuz they like to see them suffering, my initial thought as to why someone would like a vent post was cuz they felt the same way as the person in question. And that's BEFORE they comment and talk about THEIR woes and wisdom, offering words of advice to those who need it. It's sad to hear that It's the opposite. :pensive:

I respect those who don't want the likes and I'm glad that I learned not to do that as quick as I did cuz at first, I went around liking posts and pics that looked pretty before reading the desc and then 1 day, I saw a vent post and I liked it as my way of helping them feel better(cuz ya know, lots of people like getting likes on their posts, even if it did seem weird to me that people would probably want them on posts like those. It makes better sense w/ emojis on Discord), but then I read the-

..., but then I read the description and comments about how no one liked when people did that and so I immediately unliked it in worried respect.
It didn't help that there were 2 likes already on it just sitting there. So yeah, that's another reason to disable them, cyberbullies and harassers will just confuse anyone new (like I was) into liking posts that shouldn't get likes in the first place.

I haven't been on this site for even a YEAR yet so I've still got a lot to learn about in terms of how the community is like.

Colors Live is primarily a public art posting platform so thats the reason anyone can like anyones post, vent or not. However I'll forward your idea to the team to see what they think

One idea I brought up to Jens before is maybe some sort of blog feature where people can post their vents and news updates. Maybe I'll bring it up to him again
