Batlings are considered in two separate sub-species in one. These nocturnal hyper beasts mimick bats as suggested, sleeping upside down and can fly, along with being cowardly to confront others unless absolutely required. Usually they hunt Frus for food, however if a batling tastes any sort of blood, their dna changes into a blood batling, hence more violent acts.

There easy to tame with fruit, however do not go near their blood craving side.
