@FrenchToast im not good with oc names so i usually just use name generators :sob: i use behindthename.com because it lets you to click on the name and see its origins and the generator also allows you to pick a style for the names and stuff

So, live action Little Mermaid by Disney.
They pick an actress of color to play Ariel, the mermaid with a name that somehow shows that Triton knew she would want to be around dry land and air.
No harm done, but could her mother be human considering her mom died.
Ariel somehow fails to represent the royal era politics of keeping royal bloodline and would have been funny to see prince erik's parents arguing relavance between love or tradition, & revealing family discussion of xenophobia vs racism.

Disney's movie critique curriculum hijacking of an elective class in my high school did apparently teach me something about movie crtique albeit unintended.
My school had to ban the class mid semiester because our grades were passing A+ and even though my grades werw B+ to A minus, the school was told something that revealed a privacy violation when my crappy less than 20 word essays got passing grades and Disney wanted me expelled for my 'religious opinions' on the innuendo & ****** themes.
