after sans saw papyrus unconcious and bleeding, he thought papy died. he was devestated, he couldnt live without his brother. so, he jumped off a ledge in waterfall. when papyrus woke up, he had a concussion, and didnt remember anything about wdg or sans (besides name). all he knew was that he was papyrus, & lived in a house in snowdin. hes been afraid of trees ever since. he walked around, calling for help, when he found nass in the woods, crying. They were inseparable since.
