I don't think it's just me, but in my opinion, dragons and insects make for a great hybrid. I once tried to to make a hybrid orchid-mantis dragon, but couldn't quite get it to look right. I guess I'll have to give it another try now though, since that was 8 years ago. I think it could be cool if you gave it a go for yourself.
