an artist named pokopin_ fetıshized trans men, and got a bunch of backlash for it. when the drama settled down a bit, it all erupted back again due to it being found out that they were verbally abusing their partner, and then blaming it on mental illness. once people started making callout posts or sharing their opinions on what they were doing (me included,) the artist started to mass report the accounts of anybody who talked on the situation, causing all the reported accounts to be suspended

@AngelDust As a trans guy myself, that first part is terrible. I feel bad for their partner, metal illness isn't an exuse for abuse. This situation is horrible. Thanks for explaining in more depth.

Yeah. Luckily, their 'partner' is no longer dating them, even though it took persuasion of others to do it.

@AngelDust I hope they get there stuff figured out and get their act together. (Bad time and convo but I love ur style, I'm emo and a metalhead. I also kinda wanna get into scene.)

I also really hope they fix themself. They obviously need help. (And thank you :3 I like your style too! You totally should get into scene. Something to know beforehand, artists like 6arelyhuman and Odetari arent scene! Try artists like Dot Dot Curve and BrokenCyde. They're Crunkcore, which is the biggest genre of scene music.)

@AngelDust I hope they know what they're doing. I know people who've harmed others thinking they did nothing wrong, those people gone through help and are better now. (Thank you sm for the music recommendation, I've been looking for scene artists! The scene style and life looks so cool and brings me sm joy too see.)

Sadly enough, Pokopin doesnt realize they're harmful. Either that, or they're playing oblivious to their actions hoping for a way out of it.
(No problem! Knowing what to look for before searching into a genre, style, or subculture is really helpful. I hope your journey into Scene is fun! The lifestyle of being Scene is really amazing, the only issues being expensive and high maintenance (v_vc) )

@AngelDust I hope they get a grip seeing the backlash and fix themselves. Sadly, there are just bad people in the world (Thanks! My emo/metalhead/dark style Idk wht to classify it as lol has drained my wallet too. I get thrifted stuff to from my stepmom who is emo lol.)

@R0ACH So by looking at your drawings, (I'm assumung your sona looks like you,) You're alternative/metalhead :). I wouldn't classify you as emo, as emo is known for their side swept bangs with side fringes, LOTS of hairspray, tighter clothes, and listens to emo music. (Metal and Emo aren't the same genre^^) Good Emo bands as examples are Saosin, Asking Alexandria, and Attack Attack!. The most well known Emo bands are Pierce the Veil, Sleeping with Sirens, and Black Veil Brides.

^^ I said all this as a response to you being unsure about what your style is.
About the wallet stuff YEAH.. This stuff is pretty expensive. Especially with scene due to the over-accessorizing it comes with. Multiple belts, Hair clips and bows, Bracelets, etc.

@AngelDust Yeah, I have a mullet lol. My sona looks basially a simple version of me. I listen to a lot of emo bands, I just don't dress like it often due to the fact I have a deep hatered for jeans and tight clothes. I usually wear baggy and dark clothes. My main music genres I listen to are Metal (Mostly Nu and Trap), Emo/pop punk, and more heavy emo bands like Pierce The Veil, Asking Alexandria, (My mind is deciding to drsw a blank on music now.)

Ahh, by Heavy Emo bands I'm assuming you mean Myspace Metalcore? Asking Alexandria is basically exactly that. Pierce the Veil, on the other hand, is more of just emo. PTV is a less heavy type of emo band. Although since you like Asking Alexandria, you'd probably like Attack Attack! due to the fact Asking Alexandria was heavily influenced by Attack Attack!. (Attack Attack is my fav band lol.) A good Attack Attack! song is Party Foul, its (in my opinion) their best song.

@AngelDust I'll for sure check out Attack Attack! They sound awesome. I also like MCR, it's a bit basic but I like the music and that's all that really mstters lol.

Yay :3 You should tell me if you like them (if you do check them out). MCR isn't too bad, but against popular belief, they aren't emo. MCR is really just Pop Punk.

@AngelDust I listen to music a lot so I'll prob check them out soon, I have a lot of cleaning to do so I'm going to be listening to music a lot! I listen to Pop Punk sometimes, but not too often lol. I usually stick to the heavier music unless I need something calming.

@R0ACH Same. Pop Punk or music less heavy is extremely underwhelming. I'm never listening to music that isn't heavy unless I'm sad or something.

@AngelDust Metal and heavier music feels like it's filling space and it's very pleasing. Most of my fav bands are heavy exept for my alltime fav band, Ghost/Ghost B.C

@R0ACH Lol same, I usually listen to Underground Black Metal and Slam Metal, but then my favorite band is Attack Attack (O_o||)..
I used to really like Ghost, It was a hyperfixation of mine for.. like a year. My favorite song by them is Witch Image :3 Whats yours?

@AngelDust Ghost has me by the throat atm. I went to their movie and I just love them. My fav song has to either be their newest The Future Is A Foreign land or Con Clavi Con Dio (I can't remember how to spell it). I will ramble abt Ghost for so long.

@AngelDust Swiss and Rain. Sodo is so real :b. I think my bf's fav is Mountain and Phantom due to the amount he pointed them out in the movie.

eurghh phantom is cool, but i dont know enough abt him to like him a whole bunch. i miss aether, maybe thats why im not so fond of him.. (<_<v")
swiss and rain are super cool. rain is easily my second favorite, hes so cool and was even emo back in the 2000s.
