For contex, Shadow tried to apologize to Cosmo for kiIIing Tails... It did not pan out very well.

I meant to say for my headcanon for the redesign is that Tails' death resulted in Cosmo developing a massive chip on her shoulder, thus her clothes and hair have changed to represent this more jaded version of her.
