A step away from madness by Sharktoof
As sadistic and emo as it sounds we all are. Example time! I know a couple of healthy women who developed premature alziemers. Not going into full story... Also, I once had an uncle, he found out his wife was cheating on him, and like any other man he was angry. But for him, it triggered something in his brain that caused him to develope schitzofrenia. We all could turn mad at any moment. Woo! :D I would of given you my interpretation of this painting, but I'de rather hear all of yours. :D Yey.

The sad story in the pic description D:....Nice finishing touches. Your composition in layered spacenfor things is really showing up to be an art playground for you.

My interpretation: The person depicted is effected by madness (the thing coming out of her head) The eyes are leaking tar depicting madness like a gross disease. Taking over her head, it affects the world around her. Making it seem like flowers in bloom are actually blackened and dead; branches are snakes hissing and unwelcoming. The expression on the person's face is blank and empty trudging forward into this world while trying not to acknowlege what's going on around her. Its a really nice painting and again I'm uber jelly of your cross hatching skills.

The beauty of the front part is covering the truth. It's a mask hiding the fact that it's a terrible side of her(?) but it's not always so easy to voer up the truth. Life is a part of everyone that everyone else wants to discover from you. It might look great for some but it might look scary for others. People don't want others to ignore them so... it gers coverd up(as so).
