he never messes w them
they like to hang out w him
he absolutely hates it when ppl mess w spirits tho
whole thing about his story
he doesnt know how to be w ppl
since he spent his entire life in a haunted abandoned graveyard n village
he's only ever known spirits
n his job is to technically preach to them, so they can move on peacefully w no regrets
technically avoiding the "lets help the ghost w unfinished business"

like a person, or they want someone dead cuz they hate them
reading/preaching to them help them avoid n move on from dat grudge cuz lil Damiem doesnt want someone getting hurt
if its lil things like seeing a place, doing something they couldnt do before they died, he'll do it for them, even if he hs to travel w a bunch of spirits w him. . .
which causes ppl to hate im cuz they r curios spirits b they like to mess w ppl
