Cause I was asked... by OracleofGelu

Noooooooo!!!...
Now I'm mildly obsessed with D&D.
@Wind_Waker asked to be told how it went, so here.

We are playing through a starter campaign because everyone, even our Dungeon Master, is new to this.
Me and uh, friend one (She might get Colors one day.) were both Tieflings. She is a Bard named Piccolo, I am a Rouge named Oracle. They are siblings who were separated at a young age. My brother is a Dragonborn Paladin. He babysat Oracle and Piccolo once. Despite being younger than Piccolo.

Dragonborn aging is weird. Anyways... The session started with us being dropped on a beach and abandoned. We only went ten or so feet and some zombies popped out of the ocean. So. Many. Rolls. Of. One.
That fight took so long.
Four in game hours.
It was really funny though.
Everyone started throwing weapons, and then Piccolo tried shoving a zombie by kicking it.
It failed.
But, because of her heeled boots, he took piercing damage.
She also tripped because of the heels.
Multiple times.

Storm (the dragonborn) Is a tank. He only got hit twice the whole session. All we could imagine was that every time a zombie tried to bite him, his scales were just too thick.
Oracle was, really, really bad in the first fight.
She missed so hard that she fell over and then the zombie fell on top of her.
Overall, the first fight:
Best fighter: Piccolo (lol the bard how)
Least Damage Taken: Storm
Most Fails: Oracle

We finished that, visited a monastery, made banana pudding (Yes, really, Storm is a good cook), and found our next quest. Chef dude needed mushrooms for cooking. The cave he normally got that from was now guarded by mushroom zombie octopus.
So we went there.
Found octopus.
Distracted it with an illusion of a random dude named George.
We left the octopus behind and entered a cave where we almost died from fungus things.
Lots of dagger throwing later...
We ended the session after a few more

fights, and also a few minutes of Oracle watching Piccolo and Storm inhale some mushroom spores. They both healed a little, but when Piccolo tried again her left eye swelled up. Her eyelashes fell out after she drank some liquid surrounding her petrified rat. Ew.
She is fine now.
After that, Oracle didn't want to risk it.

That should be it?

Dang, I read this forever ago but forgot to comment, sorry about that.

Sounds very......Interesting. As someone, who doesn't really know how DnD works, reading that was highly amusing

@Wind_Waker
Don't worry, I figured you saw it.
Honestly, the group's shared immature humor combined with the game mechanics was pretty funny. One thing I like about dnd is that if you don't want to follow a rule, you don't have to. You can pretty much choose to do whatever you want, with hilarious consequences. Overall, a really enjoyable way to hangout with friends.
