Why Gaster is still around:
In the Undertale - Lost Sibling [Mix] timeline, Alphys is never born. Therefore, Gaster is still the Royal Scientist. He is also the creator of Sans and Papyrus (S1 and P2), not the father. Holes are still in his hands from this experiment and creation. Sans and Papyrus do not know Gaster is their creator, but Sans has had some suspicions.
