before i could only log in about once a month or so but now ive been able to be on four days in a row??!

oh hey!! i was wondering where u went lol :sob: glad u got pretendo working!! i think a lot of ur issues u were having with pretendo may have been server side rather than on ur end, as pretendo was having a lot of connection issues relating to their friend network api which effects pretty much everything: if the friend network doesnt work, nothing else will either aside from standalone homebrew softwares :'D cuz i couldnt use my 2ds properly for a while either djdjshds, it didnt stop me from using colors entirely since i have the switch version but maaaan it was annoying lol. not sure why my posts werent showing up for u, maybe try unfollowing and refollowing? the colors cache on 3ds is also just rlly slow sometimes, it took a whole day for this post's drawing to actually show up in the #ottorv tag on my 2ds :broken_heart:

anyway sure, i wouldnt mind adding u!! i'll post it in a separate comment on switch, one moment :p

anyway NETPASS MY BELOVED!!!!! the moment i found netpass was a thing i was so happy, ive never rlly been able to streetpass ppl for a number of reasons n so i pretty much completely missed out on the mii plaza games, which sucks bc i play them now and most of them are super duper fun,,,, i wish i got to enjoy them sooner but at least now i can enjoy them!! my fav is prolly flower town, wbu??

oh yeah is streetpass relay working for u? its a pretendo feature that works kinda like netpass, except u only streetpass other ppl on ur friend list rather than random strangers. cuz w/ netpass its hard to get repeat passes with ppl which makes certain mii plaza games like find mii suffer a lil
i havent been abke to get it working afaik? but tbf i havent had anyone to properly test it with in a while so... :thinking:

ikr, netpass is so useful!! i live in a small city, so streetpasses are almost none.
even in 2OI3- I6, i really only streetpassed my sister who mostly in our dowstairs living room while im upstairs XD

i noteced universal updater had a super resent update for nimbus, and since i did it, ive been able to log on. :D

i on pretendo server, then i go to NNID to make account, it mentions a chrismas beta, i enter info and stuff and when i click to create, i get an error??

i should be able to create account on new 2ds, i saw it was possible, but it not let me :C

same here, i've always lived in pretty small towns overall, either that or just nobody had 3dses around me :sob: so im in a similar boat, except for a while in my house i was (still am) the only person w/ a 3ds sooo... i just streetpass myself on my 2ds xl and 3ds xl :sob:

streetpass relay is actually a feature that was built into the systems and even accessible during some brief nintendo zone event in japan iirc, but nintendo never utilized it outside of that. it basically works just like regular streetpassing, u put ur console in sleep mode and just let it chill for a while and itll fetch friend list data via spotpass and then convert it into a streetpass ping if someone else is also in sleep mode, itll even light up ur lil notif led green like a reg pass. its implementation in pretendo is a lil finicky rn unfortunately, if u didnt get any notifs abt relay after the latest nimbus update then u gotta reset the sytem clock to--

flower town is super cute, but i find it just takes longer to go though it each time than some of the other ones. like the cut scenes n' whatever?

get it working, the only way i know how to do that rn is taking the battery out and putting it back in... which is /VERY/ annoying to do on a new 2ds xl like mine since u gotta unplug some sensitive cables just to get to the battery, and its not even guaranteed to make it reset. i got it working on my 3ds xl, but i had to take the battery out like 3 or 4 times to do that :( its not my main console either so its kinda pointless on there lol...
ive also heard relay can occasionally glitch out netpass and cause phantom pings (aka, netpass gives u streetpasses but when u boot up a compatible game there'll be nothing there) so... def in a goofy state rn, its cool in concept tho and i hope therell be some way to fix stuff in the future :saluting_face:

glad u got it solved!! it also affected me even tho i was up to date, pretendo's updated their data networks thoroughly tho so there shouldnt be many more issues now aside from occasional high-network-traffick errors djdjshsds

gl with the account making, i was able to make it work just fine first try when i did it so... theres a chance u may be getting a high network traffic error? or pretendo may have halted account creation, i'd have to check the discord to know for sure on the latter :thinking:

ultimate angler my beloved <3 i also like monster manor and battleground z, tbh i like almost all the games... except market crashers and mii trek, crashers stresses me out and trek is a lil tedious x_x

yeah recenting ive been puting gba cia injects to da home menu.
been playing a rom hack of Pokemon FireRed called Radical Red and mann its really good!
its basicly the orginal except for:
ALL pokemon to gen 9 in it
QoL improvement
sprite customization
Raid Dens
HMs not needed, now key item thing
Can rematch gym leader and fight jhoto leaders
new game plus
etc!
im really likeing it!

i somehow removed the black plate of one of a veryold new 3ds xl (the back plate was loose ish) (no screwdiver useage tho) and so the battery constantly falls out. i legit wraped tape around that area of the system to keep it in .o.

legit never removing loose stuff on ds systems ever again

dont like how you Needed to remove it on new 3ds to access SD card...

battleground z is definitely pretty tricky as u progress the stages, i kinda like that trickiness tho, its fun to me djsjshds i completely get not liking it tho

hmm, you could maybe type out the error more literally? so like, instead of directly inputting numbers, just say "code is zero-one-eight-two, zero-seven-two-two" or smth lol (not a real code example but yknow), the 3ds error codes arent too long after all

oh god yeah the new 3ds backplates suuuck :sob: pretty sure my gf cut a hole into her backplate just for easier sd card access lol, im glad i got a new 2ds xl since its sd card slot is way easier to access
as for streetpass relay, you'll know its available to u if u get a message abt it in ur notifications menu on the home screen, the same place u get spotpass alerts and streetpass pings normally/the lil tealish green bubble

also oooh radical red, ive heard of it before!! not sure if/when i'll check it out but i am pretty interested in checking out a romhack myself calldd pokemon odyssey, its a firered romhack as well and it completely overhauls everything, theres no gym system and instead you explore this huge tree labyrinth and play along a custom storyline. every pokemon in the game has had stat balancing changes, with many receiving new regional forms. it only goes up to third gen mons with a few fourth gens here n there but its still v cool :eyes: i havent played it yet bc im not super sure how the gba injecting process works lol i rlly want to tho

i like the ones that inclued gen9 mons

iffy on the ones that have their own fanmade storys. but i can totall admire how pokemon-like they are and the creativity they put in.

its like, GBA cia injects, ive found qr codes for a good amount and i just scan em' w/ FBI and it puts the game right on ;)
