Drawn To Life 5 by MickyDuff
I did a series of drawing awhile ago called drawn to life some originally done by Maurits Escher this time I've tried to do my own thing using little reference, its an unfinished drawing coming to life hence it half coloured and the rest sketched :o)

Why thank u Mr Bell :oD, there's some fantastic fantasy works at the moment especially enjoying Karel DH's art def think he's in a class of his own where fantasy art is concerned :D

Yes I agree karel DHs fantasy art is a bit special, i bought a book on fantasy artists after googling Warcraft, it's all givin me the itch to have a little dabble myself lol :-)

Hmm ok I'll have a little scratch Micky lol. The book is called pocket fantasy art, editor Martin McKenna, forwarded by Boris Vallejo , the artwork is absolutely fantastic, gives all the info on each painting, I paid £10 from waterstones, :-)

How did you draw that? Do you use a picture to get the shading and such correct or just your imagination? Either way, your drawing is excellent.

Thanks V, I usually use reference from a photo etc but with this it was a mixture of a little reference and and a lot of imagination :)
