I'm curious. Where do you learn to make your art? What inspires you the most? Your skill with digital is most commendable, and I'd like to encourage more artists to look to you and your sources for inspirstion.

@The_Adjudicator thank you! i ADORE questions like this. i grew up watching and studying classic animations and art, most notably including Don Bluth/Gary Goldman (which both i had the honor to meet!), the nine old men of Disney, Richard Williams, and many MANY other brilliant minds. my parents have collected the best of animation books, working in the industry they have taught me major factors of it. the principles, strong posing, and character design are my favorites that apply most in my art.

I feel like a lot of notable tips by masterful artists have been brushed aside because it's "old". I've found that what they talk about can apply to any artstyle. It really breaks down what makes a drawing "good" very simply, for that reason it's most likely seen as "just a cartoon". cartooning can be just as hard as any artstyle, but many don't have a trained eye to tell when somebody knows what theyre doing. I could easily go on about what ive learned, but thank you for this question!! :heart:

@funkyscplunky awh thanks man!! but i didnt draw without a sketch lmao (if only :pensive: ) theres a feature where you can import images onto your canvas, in this case i imported my sketch that i did outside of Colors, and just lined/colored it on here ;DD
