Kotallo is a Tenakth, born in the Sky Clan. He is one of Chief Hekarros Marshals, but after helping Aloy he joined her in her mission to defeat Far Zenith.
He seems like a big man character at first, but then he becomes so sweet and kind

(also he lost his arm due to a fight with a Bristleback [they are boar-like machines with saws in their mouths], and he then makes a metal one.
