just a question by _NowhereTheWeirdo_

literal insomnic and
:sparkles: professional all-night-est :sparkles: here, lil question for some artists
are sketches supposed to SUCK?
like I'm tryna draw a lil thingy w/ the sky and some people from a ship I like, and it sucks.
idk if it's because I don't know proper human anatomy, if I'm just tired, or what it is, but it just doesn't look good

As a certified vampire who watches the sun rise before going to sleep, and wakes up to a beautiful sunset, I can say that sketches are a practice of sorts that are meant to help you visualize the image in your head as it would appear on paper (or screen in this case). Some proportions may need to be adjusted, so it's important to find some way of keeping what works while discarding what doesn't. A game of trial-and-error if you will.

Put simply, it's okay if it doesn't work. Just try again.
