In the real world, yes, you play as Sunny, you have always played as Sunny.
Though, Omori, despite being Sunny, is different.

He, unlike your friends, is the embodiment of your trauma. It stays on you, like a thin layer of coat of paint.
The game focuses around that concept, essentialy. If you've seen the parts where Omori jab himself, it's the trauma inflicting on Sunnys self.
Of course, this is my intake of it

@puppyunity64 For Jevil you'll have to find keys. You can meet him at the bottom of the catsle in the first chapter. In the second one, you're going to want to do whats called a snowgrave route. Essentially, once you team up with noelle, you must have her freeze her enemys. All of them. You might have to aquire the thorn ring before doing that.
