Today has been a Very important Day, as it's 80 years since D Day! The war in the Somne that took place in France. Only 19 soldiers came back home to join their friends out of the 130 that passed in World War 1. May these very brave, young, beautiful boys never be forgotten! RIP to them all! I decided to draw this scene that I'd seen on a program on television tonight that my Dad was watching. It was done by projector lights shining up in to the sky! Somne Tour and to walk round the original Trenches that is also now a tour. Also tonight on the program, at one point they lit up all the gravestones in the Cemetery and the whole field was illuminated! I'm not sure what the program was called or what channel it was on, but you might be able to find out in your tv guide magazine or tv times magazine and you could maybe do catch-up of it on a roku box or even on youtube if you missed it and you want to watch it!

honestly I loved D-Day because I got to go to college with a 40s costume!
obviously went as a frenchie, haha
I'm glad we won against germany, ****** wouldn't be a good president
