ok so...
once upon a time, Link lived with his parents in castle town in war-torn Hyrule. His dad worked as the personal guard to the king, Impa to the queen. His dad was promoted not long after becoming a guard because the king liked him a lot. Link thought his dad was so cool and wanted to be a royal guard just like him. His dad left to go to war and promised Link he'd be back for his 12th birthday. one week later, two guards came to his house telling link hand his mother his father had died

He had died on the battlefield by the hands of monsters. link and his mother were devastated. his mom later died of a broken heart, this left link alone. link tried to get a job, everywhere he went he was rejected. with no money, link lost the house and had to turn to a life of crime. within the next year, link became a great pick-pocket. he stuck to the shadows, learned to fight with his pocket knife, and had never been caught. one day, link spotted a cart full of food, weapons and more.

Even though it was a risk he went for it anyway. when he was there, a young girl, she screamed and alerted two guards found them and locked link away in a the castle's dungeon. the king knew of the great theif but didn't know of their identity. he presented link with two options, rot in jail for his crimes or join them in their fight against evil. he chose to join them to get close to the royal family, gain their trust and **** them. link learns to open up to zelda, and learns the truth

after finding evidence, link, and zelda find out two guards we jealous of link's dad and wanted the king's favor. on the mission the two knocked him out and fed him to monsters. idk i assume they were k1lled for it. towards the end the war ends and when link and zelda grow to be 18 her parents step down crowning zelda queen and later their married makng link the new king. link was zelda personal gaurd before hand before becoming king.

if anyone actually read this let me know!!! i hope you guys read it! it was fun to make too!! tell me what you thought of the story!! btw the hood link wears was his dad's. it replaces his hat. it was a garment gifted to him by the king. he forgot when he left. after his dad'd death, his mom felt it only right for link to have it!! sorry i made you guys read this...... :point_right: : :point_left:

idk if im just being silly, but im listening to the Botw theme and your Link's story hits so hard. I always loved the idea that Link is Zelda's guard and then they get married. <3
