- they are siblings, with sila being the younger. kai is like... 21-23, sila is 15-16
- they grow up in mine and my friends' funky rp world known as terra star, aka this massive planet with multiple smaller ones/dwarf planets orbiting around it. specifically, kai and sila live up in some mountains on the planet
- they are puffballs, aka what i call kirby's species. kai and sila are a subspecies of puffball that grow fur on their body, namely for helping them stay warm in cold climates.

- unlike most puffballs, they cannot puff up and fly very well. they can still hold their breaths for a long time, but the most they can do for flying is puff up and slow their descent a little if theyre falling, they cannot rise very well because of the weight of their fur. shaving them would be the solution, but thats usually smth they want to avoid
- because of this, kai and sila are well acquainted with copy abilities that circumvent this weakness, such as wing and jet

- kai and sila specifically also use the drill ability quite well, as they help dig up tunnels and precious ores n such in their mountain, their town is smth of a mining town.
- personalities... kai and sila are basically opposites lol. kai is a very gruff no-nonsense kind of guy, he takes everything a liiiittle too seriously and is somewhat bad at reading the room. he's very well meaning but tends to come off as aggressive or grouchy at worst and just kind of bored usually. --

he generally expresses himself in a fairly subdued way around most people, but if he really likes someone then he can be a bit cheerier or happier at times. kai doesnt rlly have a lot of friends but hes frankly fine with that, talking to ppl gets tiring for him pretty quickly lmao
- sila, on the other hand, is rather bubbly and cheerful, and very exciteable to the point she can come off as hyperactive. she wears her heart on her sleeve and sees the world around her through a lense of joyous--

and whimsical intrigue, and is always trying to learn more abt whatever's around her. sila has a strong desire for adventure and was always trying to leave and sneak off the mountains when she was younger, much to the absolute fright of her caretakers lol. she wants to light up the lives of others around her and is always trying to make friends, she's very passionate and loyal towards companions and tends to make herself come off almost clownishly silly to make people laugh. --

she lacks a fair bit of emotional maturity however and tends ti freeze up/not know how to respond to serious situations, she isnt good at toning herself down either when needed and can come off as foolish and insensitive, much to her dismay. she also tends to get a bit loney, whilst kai is fine with lacking friends sila is Not and was basically the only kid her age when growing up.
