They day had come when Creamwillow had Marshwind's kits. Redstar had said that new kits were a blessing to the clan, and he knew that they would grow to be big and strong.
"What should we name them?" said Creamwillow.

Marshwind thought for a moment. "The orange she-kit should be named Fernkit." he said.

Creamwillow smiled. "and the light brown she-kit should be named Ivykit." she replied.

The new parents sat together and watched their kits who would one day become faithful warriors.
