"What was that?"
Reanna turned around to look at where she last heard the scratching. There was nothing there, other than the mist circling her.
"Come out," she cried, but no one came. Instead, she heard a voice.
"Do not become friends with a girl in a black hood..."
"What?! Who's there?!" Reanna asked.
"Heed my warning..."
"What warning? The one about a black hood?"
"You must be warned..."
"Tell me more!"
"Must be... Warned..."
And then the mist swallowed her whole, and she fell out if the sky.
