They seem fine actually. But it does not hurt to practice. Just keep at it and you will notice your artwork improving more as the days go. :)

I like it. You have a very nice shading technique, paired with a smooth colour palette. The hands don't look bad, and just remember: Your art is yours alone. If you have your own art style, stick to it. You don't have to draw hands, or any features, for that matter, realistically, so long as YOU are happy with it. Keep up the good work, and I can't wait to see more :]
