Bees have always been my favorite bugs fr as long as I can remember. They get an harsh reputation because of wasps and hornets, who are not near as cool as bees.

@The_Adjudicator i understand the bad reputation when it comes to bee-ing allergic but for anybody else i really dont get it, but to be honest i also dont get the wasp thing bc i never had the feeling they are extra aggressive
I was stung 3 times, 1 sat on a bee my fault, 2 as a kid i aggressively wiggled my arms again my fault, 3 they accidentally flew in my shoe nobodys fault...
I know thats only my experience but i see how everyone is treating the presents of a wasp and 90% of the time the

@The_Adjudicator the wasp is justified in stinging...
They arent super aggressive people just dont like them
And its extra sad if u consider that most of the time they either protect themselves or its late sommer and they literally are kicked out of the hive and just try to survive as long as they can, so of course they are a bit more aggressive, everbody would in their situation and the only way to get to food is going to humans that are aggressively try to smack, dr o wn them, ...

But yes bees are awesome and i love them and i also love wasps
Buuut my favourite bug is definitely M O T H S
They are so freaking cute and fluffy, so colorful, with big black eyes, the big fluffy wings...
They are just so freaking cute :heart_eyes_cat:

You make an excellent point. Can't really exploit wasps and hornets like we do bees, so we tend to see them from our own eyes as pests..

Regarding moths: I have to agree with you there too. house moths tend to be seen as pests because they feed on cloth material in their larva state, resulting in ruined clothes. But all in all, they really are the more cute and fluffy neighbor of butterflies. Some butterflies are actually carnivorous, feeding on the body fluids of animals.

Never got stung by beew but I did have the misfortune of accidentally putting my hand on a hornets nest that was on the underside a small table outside while helping my Mom with outdoor work :skull:

It was the sharpest pain I've ever felt and my hand was swollen for at least 3 days since I got stung by the every single hornet. Though luckily it was a small nest but still it was quite painful :sweat_smile:

I understand that people don't like the cloth moths or the food moths but THOSE BIG FLUFFLY ONE THOSE WITH THE VIBRANT (?) COLOURS AND THOSE BEDDY (?) EYES come on they are :star2: beautiful :star2:
Butterflies like pee, blood, sweat, meat,...
Moths don't have this problem bc... Moths... Moths don't even have mouth :|
(And no hate to butterflies, I also like them, so this is was not a propaganda against them :sweat_smile:
