Eric, chances are, she already know show you feel, but she's waiting and letting you say it on your own when you're ready, because she doesn't want to embarrass you. Either way, I can promise you that she values you and your friendship too much to ever lose you.
So I say just go for it. You will never know if you never say anything. And trust , that never knowing and the constant fear will always hurt a lot more than any rejection.
