I got bitten by a dog when I was in year 3
It was a spaniel and it bit my lip. Ive still got a scar. After that, I was really scared till I was about 9, when my friend got a lab who barked at me a lot. She eventually stopped barking and now me and the dog are best friends. She helped me get over my fear
