Part One: The Best Thing in the End of the World!
Chapter One: Great Escape

Imagine this. The year is 2,189. 112 years after the Great War. You're walking around the aptly named Wasteland when you spot a towering door, shaped like a gear. Opening it is a struggle, but you manage to do it. As you walk in, a gold glow iluminates the area around you. Right as that happens, the gear-shaped door rolls shut. And it seals you inside with no one else. Well, guess what? That's what happened to me! When I got stuck inside, I thought I was entirely alone. I left a note near the entrance. This note said:

"To anyone who sees this note, I walked into this very vault and got locked inside. My recommendation? Tread with extreme caution. Good luck! -Timetracker, from 111"

I was satisfied with how it turned out, so I placed it on the console nearby, then I went to explore. The lights were dim, making it hard to see. It was as though the familiar golden glow was lighting the way. Then, it had ceased.
"What happened?" I had muttered. It was a this point that I heard a voice. Panicked. Delirious. Longing for contact with the outside world.
"Who are you?! Why are you here?! Where did you come from?!"
With the faint light, I could make out the shape of a human.
It was at this point that I knew that I wasn't alone.
