Man. Never thought I'd see the end of the online DS servers. This was the first art community I'd been apart of. All those RPs... Art collabs... One-off abandoned ocs lmao. All since 2015! But all good things must come to an end.

I remember discovering the application through my cousin, who was able to draw and post art in DETAIL and COLOUR? Unheard of at the time, as I was happily doodling on the DS game notes app and MS Paint with a mouse. So within months, I saved my measly five pounds of pocket money and begged my dad to buy the application. I booted up the app for the first time, and the rest is history!
Colors was my introduction to digital art, and where I engaged in the Warrior cats fandom! This place was my everything for a long time. In some ways, I'm glad this was my introduction to online communities. And even when I thought I moved on from this place, I always found myself doodling and sketching on the DS app. It just felt comfortable and familiar, no matter how advanced my art journey became. (Heck, I even used Colors to draw concept art for my college Final major project!)

Sure I could stay, since I've got Colors on the Switch. But I've lost my Sonarpen through a move, and even if I did buy another, I don't like the drawing experience enough to commit to learning it.

So, this is it. Thank you Colors! community, and farewell!
