Online service for the 3DS is going down tomorrow. This game system has had SO many awesome games on it.
But I feel none of them really had what Colors did, at least from my perspective.
I already said a lot in the picture I posted a couple of weeks ago, but it remains true: I was a kid when I joined, and this community helped me grow up a LOT. I've met wonderful friends, some of whom I've even met in person now, and I've been inspired by many artists here! It's been a huge blessing!
So, I gotta give a huge thank you to Colors, the team behind it, and the community!
I know there are a lot of people looking into alternate ways of getting online with a DS after the service goes down--and I hope it works out!--but I'm not likely to be hacking my DS. The screen is all scratched up, and well...
I've kept my stylus for so long, it's been sharpened to a spear-point. The thing is actually dangerous and is definitely what mutilated my screen. XD
BUT, I will still be around and possibly on the switch later on!
While this is a goodbye to the 3DS, it's still not a full goodbye.
So for now, I'll just say, God bless you all! And I hope my fellow DS users will all be able to find a good alternative!
The Colors! Gallery moderators will look at it as soon as possible.

@Fluffy_Inc You've inspired me on here so much. I've always loved how detailed your artwork was. And the backgrounds were amazing. And your references were wonderful, too!! I still can't believe the servers are going down, but it's been great overall. I'm glad to have met you and to be able to see your artwork improve. I wish you the best of luck in everything you do and God bless you a well!!!

My 3DS stylus must have been a limited edition or something. I get them when I needed to replace my og stylus, and never saw rhe same brand on shelves again. It had a rounded glass tip that made it easier for me to see ehere I was drawing on the screen.
At any rate, I'm sad to see 3DS begin it's lonely walk into obscurity. I do look forward to what the future holds wth anticipation though. But in all this, I'll never forget the day I was charmed by 3D painting. What a thrilling decade. :D

@Dynoluva
Aww, thank you so much!! That means a lot. X)
Your art has been an inspiration to me, too! I've loved seeing how you pushed yourself to draw all kinds of different creatures! You have such a fun style, especially with the way you make your character's eyes sparkle!
Best of luck to you, too!
@ShadowPikaboo
Yes! Same to you! We'll keep on keeping on and see where God takes us next!
@The_Adjudicator
Ooh, that sounds really cool! I think I remember seeing some styluses like that, but never actually having one.
It's definitely sad, but at least we have some awesome memories and inspirations to look back on. ^-^
I think I only really caught your art more around when I stopped visiting as often... Your work is awesome, and I love how much effort you put into it!

@Fluffy_inc
Thank you : ) Your compliment is humbly appreciated. I've learned to appreciate everyone's best efforts, especially when I've been following someone for a long time and can notice distict improvements in their art style. I like to skim through people's galleries as a way to gauge their growth over time. That is what I love about this community. That is what I admire when I look back at your gallery, and see how much you've improved.

As sad as the end of Colors3D is, I'm so glad it didn't end quietly. Seeing all the apprecation art and cooments have been bitterseet. And even if it's not right away or at all, I do look forward to your return.
And I really like this drawing too. Seeing all those characters jumping out of the screen really captures the 3D aspect. And wow your 3DS looks so good! A beautiful way to end Colors3D TuT

@Puzzled
Thank you!
I'm really glad the community came together to make such a wonderful sendoff, too. The 3DS and its version of Colors are both still very loved to this day, that's for sure. -v-
I hope to be able to see more of your art, too--best of luck with getting used to the Switch!
