furry here: furries generally are just folks who take interest in anthropomorphic characters (humanoid with features of various fictional or not creatures like bird, cats, lizards.. dragons, unicorns, phoenixes.. etc) and often use them for stories, art/design stuff, or just find the concept cool. lots of furries use anthro characters as a form of expression--have a fav animal? draw urself as that animal but Humanoid and thats a fursona :]

I think some people think that furries at like animals but they are actually people who cosplay as their fursonas (at least people at my school think that)

I feel like what makes one a "furry" varies from person to person. However, I personally believe being a furry is to have a fursona that they identify as (in a online world, I mean)or something of the like, or anyone who wants to be one. Simping over an anthro character or having one for that matter does not make one a furry. Dunno tho haha gl
