this is an unfinished reference for @TNAS-max of my guy griffin for the raffle reward. he's sort-of-kinda an adaptation of the griffin from h.g. wells' the invisible man, but he's kinda just become his own separate thing now with some pretty different lore lol
i would normally not post this kinda thing unfinished like this but with 3ds shutdown approaching i wanna make sure its available before then
griffin has burns on his body, and the bandages on his arms and legs are actually a part of his body, growing from his skin. they are prehensile, and he can control each strand individually
heres more specific information, elaborating on the points in the drawing marked 1-4. typing in the comments

points 1 and 2: griffin has a large hole in his back, and his arms and legs were burnt away by the fire that killed him (he's kinda undead... sorta...). he has misty, shadowy limbs that, while he can still stand on, are much weaker and need the wrapped support of his bandages for him to be able to stand and walk confidently
the bandages coming from his back usually just wrap around his chest to cover the hole
point 3: his hair, which is also bandages, is just as flexible as the rest of his wraps, letting him hide his face in them--which he does frequently due to having a lot of paranoia about strangers knowing who he is
point 4: outfits! from left to right, you have his casual outfit, his lab outfit (he's a chemist) and his formal outfit/generally what he just goes out in public with lmao
extra info: when upset or flustered, his body will create a smoke (see: scribbly lower left doodle that i colored 2% battery) that billows out from various orifices, namely visible from his eyes, nose and mouth, along with ears and also just from the other misty parts of his body like his limbs or his back

okay thats the physical stuff out of the way. wait uh he's albino that's important, thats why he has nystagmus and light sensitivity issues
okay. Now
in terms of his personality, griffin is...... A Mess. he's very much a cocky a.sshole to most people he meets, and can tend to come off as smug or like a know-it-all. this mostly comes from not wishing to get close to others for A Number Of Reasons. most of it is something that he forces, and otherwise he's just kind of grumpy and quiet, although he has a mischievious side to him
he has a lot of paranoia and fears about him and his surroundings
he's done a lot of f/cked up things and is definitely morally gray. if i dived into it all you would be reading this for an hour but he is Not The Greatest. after his death he does go on a road to bettering himself with the help of the few people he's close to, but it definitely takes a while lmao
i can't think of much else to write down atm :thinking: umm i just kinda brainfarted all of this out quickly, a lot of his story stuff is in My Head and Not Written Down jfksjdhfsfs

which reminds me, forgot to say--he frequently wears perscription sunglasses (seen in his outfits) bc of his eye issues, ur free to draw him with or without them tho as u want since he doesnt wear them /constantly/ :thumbsup: figured it could be inferred from my text plus drawings but it wouldnt hurt to mention more directly lol. i like makin things clear :p
