End of Evangelion is just a long episode to most, it's not really a movie. :p The original last episodes were mostly a psychoanalysis of Shinji's mind, EoE is what was actually happening in the real world at the same time. I loved it, glad they added it to fix the ending. c:

the strangle scene? oh man, there's a deep meaning to that. i dont think i have the willpower to talk about that with a 3DS keyboard right now. :p I took it as him trying to provoke her into fighting him back, to see if she had the will to live after he rejected instrumentality. He expects her to fight back because he believes that she hates him, but she doesn't because she cares deeply for him [as seen in her mind infecting scene]. She finally opens herself up, not putting walls around herself against Shinji by fighting back like usual. he's also repeating something that happened earlier in his head, to prove that the actions that he's making now are real.
i missed a lot but its confusing and my head hurts. :s Its also just my interpretation, there's no official explanation.

do you believe the rebuilds are sequels? time repeated after EoE with a new world, with events changed? I mean, the moon already has red, the sea is already red, shinji listens to tracks past 25/26 on his music player (the last eps of the original) there are a lot of hints

Now that you mention it, it makes a LOT of sence! Because in Two, when Gendo is in a space ship near the moon, did you hear what Kaworu said in Gendo's direction? It was something like "Hello FATHER." And at the end of Two, when Kaworu stabs Shinji with The Lance of Longinis, Kaworu says "THIS TIME I'll make you happy." What did he mean by THIS TIME? It also explains why the Mark-Six looks like Unit-One ( But with a different visor.)

So my theory is that Kaworu is really Shinji, but from a different time or future.

P.S. The water has always been red, (Even in the TV series) because of First impact.(Acording to a podcast I listened to.) So tell what you think.But please try not to spoil Three, I still haven't seen it. :)

the water was red at the site of the impact in the tv series, but after the end of eva, when everyone is turned into lcl, the whole sea is red. Then in the movies it starts as if all of that had already happened.

I'm not sure, about either of those. I have to rewatch it when 3.0 comes out in disc form in Japan. '.' All i know is the '1st' impact created the geofront cavity, and that's how lilith got there. She lost her spear, so adam tried to use his (because two seeds of life cant be on the same planet) but he returned to an embryo for some reason. thats why humans were made instead of angels, because lilith's 'ooze' [lol] took over and created lilim. im not sure if her spear is truly gone, longinus is adams, but there were some more mentioned in the 3rd film... i just forgot ^.^'

Wait, you said there are FOUR Adams! Wait (again) Third impact will start if ADAM and LILITH like touch, right? So in the end of 2, Third impact started because of Rei (Lilith) and Shinji (Pilot). So does that mean that Shinji is one of the four Adams?

im guessing the third [final] impact of the original series is the first of the rebuild, if its a sequel. They wouldnt have anything left to remember anything before the sea of lcl since life completely reset.
and i cant say much about the four adams without spoiling the entire 3.0 film, haha. eva 01 is 'considered' an adam, or a replacement for one i think, which would make sense if shinji [the original series version] was involved with the rebuilds first impact. Four adams restarted the world... i have no idea what to make of it.

we have to think of them seperately though, the rules of the original are different in the contact between adam/lilith, etc.

What are the Eva's made of? Because I know that Unit-01 was made from one of Lilith's ribs ( Maybe...it might have been one of Adams ribs) or something like that. The Eva's have metal armor ( Which are also restraints) and an AT-Field ( Which Kaworu explained what it was in the series. [Before the decapitation scene.]) But in EoE and the episode were Unit-03 in taken over, you can see eyes and orgins.

Maybe... But, there are like Thirteen...Evas? Units Zero,One,and Two are in use. Three,Four,and Five are gone. Kaworu has Six, Seven and Eight haven't been shown yet. And I don't know about the rest. But I don't think they have made the MPE's yet.

the show said that angels are just an evolutionary path that humans could have taken if Adam had been the only seed of life on Earth. Lilith came accidentally and ruined that, lol.

Well in the series, one of the last episodes, when they find out that Adam(In Central Dogma) is really Lilith. Shinji holds Kaworu in Unit-01's hand, and Kaworu tells Shinji to crush or at least (Finish) him. So, I think Shinji cries a little then he (well I asume he) crushes Kaworu. Because there is a scene later where you see what looks like Kaworu's head.

Later there is a scene were you see what looks like Kaworu's head, fall into a giant lake of LCL. (Were Lilith is being held.) Also what does LCL even stand for? Because I know it's Lilith's blood from an open wound on its back. And also how did Lilith's leg get ( I want to say get cut off?) and how did it grow them back? Because there is like a time laps from No legs to Having legs.

yeah adam is the embryo that kaji gave to gendo in the original, in rebuild he had a key though, that little adam wasnt there. the angels are an extension of adam so they cant touch lilith.

when rei rejects gendo and the adam that he absorbed, she still absorbed adam. then she grows giant as a fusion between adam/lilith and shinji rejects instrumentality. Thats the original third impact.

in rebuild, shinji causes the near-3rd impact himself because he wanted to save rei. i guess eva 01 has that potential since its one of the adams. the only thing that can stop an adam are the lances, which every seed of life always comes with, kaworu barely manages to stop it, haha.

its just different because in the original, eva 01 isnt an adam, in rebuild its shown that she is.

waaaaait i was wrong. eva 13 is one of the four adams. they look similar so i got mixed up.

in that case, it must have to do with absorbing the s2 engine [the fruit of life]. according to the wiki they need that to become a near-adam being.

pilots control evas well because their mothers' souls are inside of them. one has yui, two has a$uka's mom's 'mother' side [the part that cared about a$uka was the only part that transferred, thats why she forgot who a$uka was back then] and most people think unit zero has ritsuko's mother because she went berserk trying to attack ritsuko or gendo. rei has no mother so... idk. zero is probably upset because ritsuko's mom hated rei, and she pilots her.

I don't think unit Zero can have Naoko (Ritsuko's mother) inside it, because Naoko is in the Magi system. Because in one of the episodes in the series, Ritsuko goes into Casper (One of the Maji) to create a virus or dead end for the microscopic angel. Plus, how would they even transfer their souls into Evas? Naoko fell ( or jumped) of the Magi platform.[After Finished the first Rei.]

Back to Unit-00 and its [soul]. I was in the middle if episode 2, (When you see Unit-00 for the first time) and I remembered that in a later episode when Shinji pilots Zero, ( forgot why) Unit-Zero went crazy a second time (The first with Rei.) So maybe Unit-Zero has part of Yui in it. Because Rei has Yui's DNA and Shini just conected with it. Maybe thats why Unit-Zero tried to [Finish] Gendo and Ritsuko.

Well according to a podcast, only part of the ocean turned red during First impact, and Misato was in a capsul during Second impact. So maybe she is talking about the ocean Before, second impact. Because she was only a little girl at that time.

I dont think yui wants to [finish] ritsuko or her mother, but an earlier rei would if she knew what happened.

in the show through the eyes of the eva 00 it even shows ritsuko with brown hair. look for it when it shows c:

Maybe, but. If Yui IS in 00, Yui might have known about Gendo's...love triangle and tried to [Finish] the three of them. Because Rei does have a little bit of Yui in her, so maybe that part of Rei tried to get to him.

the most popular theory is that its Rei I's soul, or a fragment of it. She had more of a personality, unlike Rei II in the beginning, which could be because most of rei II is in eva 00. kind of like with a$uka's mother.

agreed, rei iii in 3.0 doesnt even know she's a clone, she's completely surprised when she finds out. they dont retain memories, but maybe the 'feelings' they had deep down remain.

think of it this way. rei i dies. most of her soul is put into eva 0, [the part that wants akagi dead] and a tiny fraction was for rei ii. by the time rei iii is around there is hardly any soul left. it could also be why zero is so unstable since everyone else has their mothers in the evas.
ritsuko is high enough in power that she knows exactly who is in eva zero, so we can be sure that zero wanted to end her at least.

when rei goes through instrumentality in 25, she sees the same vision of rei (the creepy face one) that shinji saw when he was in OO. And I guess the wiki says that the original script for the episode labels that Rei as Rei I.

Well, LCL is thought to be Lilith's blood. It was said that her blood created life, Adam's created angels. ( Alternet human evolutions. ) You can guess it's blood, because when Shinji starts to attack the Geofront, Gendo orders that the pressure in the entry plug be raised to its max. And Shinji says it smell like blood, before passing out.

That reminded me of something. Remember when Shinji and A$uka had to take down the twin angel, and to prepair, they had to sync movements with music and each other? A$uka messed up, but Rei matched Shinji perfectly. (On het first try.) How do you think she did that? Was if luck?Great timeing? Or maybe a special power she has from Lilith?

a$uka was trying too hard to prove she was better, remember? she kept blaming shinji for not keeping up, when she just had to slow down to match him. rei had no reason to compete so she matched his moves just fine.

OK. It all goes back to End of Eva. When Rei goes back to Lilith, and Instrumentality starts. You can see all the Reis standing over or next to the dead people. (In some cases, changing form to Ritsuko, Misato, ect.) All of that was to (I think) to collect their souls. There was a Rei when Ritsuko was shot and fell into the LCL, Rei turned into Yui with Gendo, and if you pause right before the part when Misato explodes, (She was already dead) Rei is standing above her.

So my theory is, that "Super Rei" sent clones back in time. Because it explains why Shinji saw Rei, and why there was a Rei FLOATING on water watching "Super Rei" die.

all of those rei's are just breaking everyone's at fields, turning them back into lcl. rei turns into an extension of lilith, thats just the form she used [like, they arent considered rei xxiv or anything like that because they arent 'rei' like rei i, ii, and iii with a will or mind.]

also time paradoxes... lets say she did send rei clones through time, it would repeat itself again [if there is ever a time that super rei doesnt do that, then it doesnt happen in the first place] but that doesnt happen in 3.0 .

kind of like if you go back to [end] your ancestor. if you [end] him, you wouldnt exist in the future to be able to go back and do that at all. :p

that being said, i still am not sure why rei is there at the beginning.

I see what you mean. Hmmmm, but maybe does have powers of some kind. (Someone elses theory) Because in episode 2 or 3, Rei tells Shinji there is an emergency ( <- spelt wrong) before Shinji even hears the alarm. It also explains why Rei knew Shinji was watching her, even though she was looking out the window the whole time. It also explains the dance syncing and Rei in the begining.

Another question, why was Rei damaged so much in the first episode? After Unit-00 went crazy, Rei looked fine in the entry plug. I mean, she didn't look she was in pain.( In the entry plug.)

actually, i think you might be right [kind of]. That rei at the beginning is assumed to be rei III, the rei/lilith/adam at the EOE that collects souls. They have the same uniform during all the times we see the 'vision' and in EOE. shinji has never met rei so he couldnt have imagined it. When Ritsuko shows Rei's 'tank' it says Top Bottom and Strangeness, which are three words about quantum mechanics, and being in more than one place at one time.
she probably transcended time when she was a god-like being and is able to be 'everywhere at once', including every point of time, so its not really like going back in time, since she cant intervene and just exists.

have you seen puella magi madoka magica? something very similar happens there too.

another thing, time has no meaning for quantum mechanics, and thats written right on her 'birth chamber' so...
she didnt really serve a purpose showing up in episode 1, probably just a cool puzzle to figure out!

Yeah thats what I really ment, not time travel, but more like existing everywere and anywere. Because in End of Eva, when the "Reis" are standing in a hall with the dead Nerv employees, there is a Rei over each of them. ( Hence the Everywere and Anywere) I also ment that Super Rei sent them, not that Rei can do that whenever. (Because then she wouldn't die) LOL.

I don't know if this it true, but I want to know what you think. In the episode were Shinji falls on Rei, (You know the rest) the glass of water on the desk next to them shines light, and you see a rainbow. Now, my question is, do you think the rainbow is really Rei's AT field? Or just a rainbow? (Keep in mind, that in the tv series and/ or the rebuild, there was a rainbow over the angels. ( I don't remember WHEN the rainbow was over the angels, but there was a rainbow.)

they put that scene in there to really show that rei has very little human emotion. she isnt embarressed [i spelled it wrong but bleh], she doesnt know that it would panic almost any young man to see her like that, she just continues on as usual. if she already knew shinji that would make sense, like she's letting shinji into her wall [or at field] or something, but shes not. its just my opinion but i think thats just a fancy rainbow effect that was added in the rebuilds just because. :p

What do you think about this? You already know that mark.06 is piloted by kaworu... and that he's a being from adam. In Q, rei III pilots mark.09, shes a being from lilith. all of the other used evas are standard, not 'mark'. think these evas are special? i think they found how to stabilize an eva without the mother's soul, and those are the mark series. [though we know kaworu can pilot anything he wants...]

Hmmmmm. Before I answer, I have a quick question. We know the Evas need a mothers soul. but does it have to be the pilots mother's soul? Or could it be someone random? For example Yui in Unit-One with Shinji as the pilot. The same with A$uka and her mother. The reason I ask is because, when Togi (Probly spelt wrong) pilots Unit-Three
in the TV series. (A$uka in re-build) Unit-Three comes from the U.S. (I think.)So there is no way that Unit-Three could have their mother('s) soul.

Well, we know for a fact that everyone in Shinji's class was a candidate for being an eva pilot. At different points in the series we find out that Toji, Kensuke, the class rep, everyone's mothers are dead. I assume they all worked at nerv years before and the government gathered them together. [actually i think this was just flat out stated in the show]

Nerv has the original information for the evas, they might have given the soul, or worked on the core of the eva in japan. but we do know there is some interchangability [mari/a$uka]

mari seems like she knows something huge in 3, by the way. she isnt normal.

i remember reading something that mentioned a$uka having a half-sister. a$uka's mom was put into the eva, but her step mother wasnt, and had another girl of her own. Do we know if a$uka's father re-married to the stepmom after her mom 'went crazy', or was it an adoption? cuz then they'd have the same father. makes a lot of sense!

OK. So the reason I think Mari is A$uka's sister, is because (According to Wiki) A$uka's mother tried to have a baby, but couldn't with A$uka's dad. So her mother went to a... place, and got pregnent. Then she had A$uka, and then went crazy. While in the mental hospital, A$uka's dad had a baby with her mother's nurse. When A$uka's mother found out, she [Finished] her self and the doll she thought was A$uks.

that doesnt make sense... A$ukas mother couldnt have a baby from 'a$ukas dad' so she went elsewhere? then that wouldnt be a$ukas real father in the first place. then the husband leaves and has another kid, [mari] that means they arent related at all, just by law because her real dad was from a so-called "place" lol

i reaaaaaally want to say whats in that photo... I think Mari is indirectly closer to Shinji than anyone else. They put Mari and A$uka together a lot in the 3rd and 4th film, but thats because of something that happened after the end of two[point]twotwo.

we have to remember to keep the stories seperate though. anything that is not shown in rebuild, we have to assume it never happened. a$uka is a completely different person as shikinami. events could have played out way different from the series [heck, shes like a major european commander or something in rebuild]

yeah, no matter what they are different people from the show. it could be a sequel, or a retelling, either way, these arent the same exact children that went through EOE as they all have changed stories now.

Yeah, it could be like a re-telling but with more details. Like Mari, she wasn't in the series, but she is in the re-build. And Kaworu, he showed up in his own Eva. In the series, he is sent by Seele.(Without an Eva.)

I think A$uka explain it a little, I'm on episode 13 or 14, and she hasn't talked about it yet. But I do remember A$uka talking to Shinji about it. (I just don't remember if it was in the series or re-build)

in the original, kaworu says to shinji 'i was probably born to meet you' and in 3.0, he says 'i really was born to meet you!' then there are all those 'this time' and 'last time' things that kaworu says. i think kaworu is the only thing from the original that is the same being, not another form with a different set of memories like the rest.

I just finished watching episode 14, and when Unit-00 freaked out ( With Shinji in it), Zero was trying to [Finish] Ritsako right? Or was it going after Rei? Because you saw creepy Rei in the Eva, then it went crazy.

Also in episode 14 at the end, you saw Rei in Unit-00 walking with The Lance of Longunis, (Probly going to put it into Lilith) but didn't you say Adam stabed Lilith? Or something like that?

no, i guess when two seeds of life are together they have to use them to defeat the other, but lilith lost its lance, so it didnt work properly for adam [weird i know] so he reverted into that embryo. his lance is still there though. im so confused as to why there are like 4 lances in 3.0 though. i guess the four adams thing.

a forum thread i was going through said that nerv stuck lilith with a lance to stop the legs from growing until they were ready to start the impact in their way.

Hey, in episode 14 or 15, why did Gendo lie to Seele about the elevenths angel?

Remember that Seele was using Gendo, thinking that his Evas would help them create a new world where they rule everything becoming gods. He had to pretend he was trustworthy and loyal. If an angel could break into Nerv HQ like that, they wouldnt be happy. Eventually, they end up moving without Gendo anyway with the MPEs.

Yeah, that was the eva that they were testing in Nevada. After that explosion happened, America sent their remaining Eva to Japan [eva 04/angel]

That accident happened after they recovered a part of an angel's core, that was probably the first test of trying to recreate it. I guess Seele got it right by the time the MPEs were ready to go since they all had S2 engines.

Right, so the MPEs have the S2 engines. But did the MPEs have pilots? Or like a dummy plug? Because in EoE, A$uka trashed all the MPEs.She even one of their faces off.

They had Kaworu-based dummy plugs [and thats why they were so vicious]. Kaworu was like Seele's version of Rei.

OK, I'm trying to remember. When you see Kaworu for the first time, doesn't he come out of a box of some kind? (With other boxes next to him)

Ok, so I just watched episode 19 and Twenty. ( When Shinji is absorbed by Unit-One) And when the Eva runs out of power, and the angel starts attacking Unit-One. You can see that ( Under the armor) is ( what looks like) an S2 engine. And that is before Unit-One Eats the the S2 engine from the angel with the paper like arms. (The one that cuts off A$uka's arms and head, and when Rei runs into the angel with an N2 mine.)

S2 engines look more like organs, they arent really engines. Are you talking about the orb looking thing? Thats a core. When eva one consumes the s2 engine its ripping into guts, not the orb/core.

and as for the kaworu comment, i remember that. Does that mean Seele are the ones that were sending the angels from the moon[actually the moon is part of the thing that lilith arrived on] the entire time? I do remember them saying something like "only two more angels left" but i thought that was because they had access to the dead sea scrolls.

Umm, ok. So they keep talking about "The Deadsea Scrolls",but what are they? And what do they say?
Also, how are the angels comeing from the moon? I thought only 3 came from space. And, Lilith was on the moon!? I say a picture on some web site, but why was Lilith on the moon?

the dead sea scrolls were found by seele. they basically say 'this angel will attack, this will happen, and at the end you will restart the world'. Thats why they get mad at gendo if something bad happens that isnt part of the plan written on the scrolls.
the moon itself is what lilith arrived on. without lilith there would be no moon. i forget exactly, but the 'white moon' collided with earth and left the crater now known as the geofront, the underground place where nerv is. thats also why lilith is down there, nerv never moved her. the 'black moon' is adams, but i dont know where that went. they dont talk about it anywhere.

i dont know about the boxes, im just guessing.

black moon is probably where they found and started the second impact actually. they discovered adam there.

What caused second impact? They talk about it so much, but they only say that Adam exploded for some reason. I don't think they explain it.

i just found this out now, but it was a contact experiment between a human volunteer and adam. Like, they tried putting the humans dna into adam. it exploded. in the manga, they strongly suggest that kaworu was born from this event. so he's a combo of lilim genes and adam.

unrelated, but in ep.25, a$ukas mother's soul talks to her in the eva, and both parts of the mother are there, so we can be almost sure that the rest of her soul was collected after she k.illed herself [and therefore not impossible for rei I to be in unit zero.

oh and in ep24, hyuga [a nerv employee] says kaworus birthday is the exact day of the second impact. i think this was only said in the subs.

Hey! I JUST found Evangelion 1 and 2 online, DUBBED! I finished watching 1, and again I think you are right about it being after the EoE. Because, at the end of 1, Kaworu ( Come out of a box on the moon, with a person from Seele talking to him) says, it the 3rd AGAIN.

I know what you mean, it was all good until she ran out of power. My favorite part was from episode 25 or 26, when Shinji watches a different reality. (When Rei runs in to Shinji with a peice of toast in her mouth, haha...Classic.) That whole scene with the alternet reality was funny.

I liked Rei (2) the most, because I liked how she went from very little emotion (Like anger when Shinji said he didn't trust his fathers work), to crying before she sacrificed herself to save Shinji from the "halo" like angel. I hated the that part, and when they showed Rei's hand covered in blood. :[ (I cried a little)....don't judge me. : /

found some interesting info! the rebuilds [one to three] are called 'jo' 'ha' and 'kyu' which means beginning, middle, and end in japanese music or plays. the fourth one was send to be named after the 'final barline' in music, but a newer interview said it will be named after the 'repeat' symbol.

the 'regular' manga is really good! some events are a little different, so you also have to read it as if you've never seen the shows or rebuilds as they are not a direct adaptation of the tv series. last time i read it, it wasnt finished yet, it got to the part where nerv was under attack, i should go over it again. i havent checked out the manga based off of the films though...
i havent read the school life version of evangelion either. i'll grab them tonight :p

I don't think so... the world was reset except for Shinji and A$uka [and anyone else who wanted individuality could have chosen to come back, too.] so they couldn't really continue the story right after... there are no angels left, the story was finished.

rei was made from lilith, who nerv still has. kaworu was made from the fusion of lilim [human] and adam which caused the second impact, so probably not, lol.

well 25 and 26 were almost completely in the pilots' minds while EoE was happening. Shinji made a decision for himself for once [the anti-instrumentality in eoe] and felt that everyone in his mind would congradulate him for it.

People think that maybe a$uka and shinji repopulate the earth, but it specifically says that anyone in the ocean of lcl can come back if they are willing to accept the pain of being seperate and hurting each other. It cant just return to how it was though, civilization probably had to start over. I really dont know. :3

Im noticing a lot more. When playing piano with kaworu, kaworu says to keep practicing, redo it over and over until you are happy with how it turns out. the theme for the rebuilds is music, and repeating. i think when shinji went through the impact before, he made the world how he wanted it to be. the reason the moon and sea are already red is because thats what was in his mind when he rebuilt the world. things still didnt turn out right, so he may have to do it again.
little things like that have double meanings in this series.

i also love when shinji and fuyutsuki are playing shogi. fuyutsuki says 'you will lose something precious in fourteen turns'. you'd think 'oh, he's going to lose the shogi match in fourteen turns'.

exactly fourteen minutes later in the film, is when kaworu dies.

Some things i noticed. The new wille people said misato was a good captain 'just as kaji told us'. that is the group that kaji was working for, he started wille to go against nerv. it was undercover as a sea restoration project in 2.0. kaji is missing from the film though.

when mari communicates with rei III, she says 'your original was much nicer' but she never met rei II, right? yui was the original rei. and in that photo fuyutsuki had, you can see someone standing next to yui, baby shinji, and gendo that looks like mari. with the evas keeping the kids from getting older, mari could be con[n]ected to the origins of evas. shes also the one who makes a big deal about the adams and vessel, she knows too much.

In 3 when Shinji sees A$uka for the first time in the movie, he says she looks exactly the same as the last time he saw her. ( 14 years earlier ) And he was kind of right, none of the pilots have aged on the outside. And A$uka says its the Evas curse. I wonder what that means?

Also, Shinji was kind of wrong about A$uka looking the same. In the movie she looked like she was alot older than foreteen. And I think that is how the creaters saw her, like in EoE when A$uka is in a tub ( Not trying to be weird ) she looked older there to. But when she was in the Eva she looked normal. You know what I mean?

In 2.22 when Rei charges the angel with an N2 mine, Mari uses Unit two to eat the angels AT-Field. And right before the explosion, Rei says something like "Thank you" or "Now go" and throughs Mari and Unit-Two away from the blast. Thats when Mari shows Shinji what is happening, and when Rei gets eaten.

Also your right about the picture, there was someone who looked like Mari in it. And if the pilots don't age because of the Evas, Mari could know alot more about everything.

the words said 'suzuhara touji' so we can assume that toji was an eva pilot during those fourteen years and probably died while doing so.

The girl in the photo could be mari's mother, as she doesnt look exactly the same [looks older a little]. but her glasses are exactly alike. and yeah now i remember when rei talked to mari for a second.

remember how in the original series toji agreed to pilot if nerv took his sister to their hospital? a similar thing might have happened, then his sister would be under nerv already. then when kaji gets misato and ritsuko and the others to leave, the sister joins them too, having nowhere else to go. mind blown. :p

Maybe... but who knows? 3 wasn't about what I thought it would be about... at all. They left questions unanswered in 2 and left more questions 3.

Also, I don't think the creaters of Evangelion like Kaworu, because they decapitate him twice. The first was in episode 24, and then they showed that in EoE twice in slow motion. And the second was in Three.

well in both versions, kaworu is the only person shinji has at the time [a$uka was hospitalized at the time in the series i think] so he gets really attached to him. then he dies and shinji gets depressed or freaks out. thats like kaworu's role, to be the tragic death, haha.

before he dies he says 'im sure we will meet again.'

When she was crushed by the eva 01 dummy system, i guess. Nothing else really stands out, it was probably just too bad to heal.

her black hat has mari's symbol on it. they must have gotten close during that time shinji was asleep.

oh and the lcl from being in the evas slows down aging almost completely. thats the curse.

I guess your right about her eye. I mean, in the series ( the angel Rei takes out with the Lance of Longonis) attacks A$uka from space and it looked like it would have hurt her eye. But then again, they never explained what happend to A$uka an Unit-3.

Also did you think 3.33 was about what you thought it would be about? I thought it would continue from part with Kaworu in the Mark-6, not forteen years later. It seemed like there was more they could have done.

nope, i was completely surprised. i was actually kind of mad at first, but i've warmed up to it. now i love it.

hm, some stuff from the series still happened in rebuild. maybe mpe's still came [during the time skip] and stabbed through a$ukas [eva two] eye or something. i remember one of their lances doing that to eva 02, and thats pretty specific. i wonder if it was the same eye too.
they leave way too many things unanswered. will they show how toji died? what exactly caused the nerv/wille split? why mari, a$uka, and rei have 'nami' all at the end of their names?! [:p]

Even the preveiw for 4.44 looked confusing, there were alot of Evas in it. ( But more fighting ) I was kind of mad to. When they showed the scene with Lilith and the Mark-6, I thought about that could have been a movie by itself. Also, does "nami" mean anything in Japenesse?

One more thing, one of the spears goes into Unit-2's head, and then the MPEs eat the Eva's insides. They never showed what happend to A$uka, but they implied she was dead. Also in EoE when Shinji strangles A$uka for the second time, A$uka has a bandedge ( Spelt wrong) over her left eye. So maybe the MPEs did attack, who knows?

The bandage was from the mpe attack. I dont know, she must have been alive since she came back. I think those who were dead before the third impact [like misato] cant come back. or else people that died years ago could just show up again? misato still turned into lcl, but thats part of the impact, everything of life is erased.

you know he only strangled her once right? the first time was only shinji hallucinating. the ending version was basically him testing out a$ukas feelings for him. [if she puts up a wall like she used to] or not.

unit 08 2 is going to be sweet.

oh but those evas they were fighting look like they could MPEs. -.- Seele is gone though. hmm.

I just thought that was kind of funny. :]

Mari also never left her lcl pod in 3.33 as far as we know. She was even seen eating and drinking IN THE EVA. Its really weird.

Oh yeah, she had like 10 bottles of something in her entry plug. Actualy, she is almost always in an Eva, except for when she fell on Shinji.

Do you think so much could have been avoided if someone told shinji ( And everyone watching Evangelion ) what was happening? Forth could have been avoided if Misato, Ritsuko, or evan A$uka explained the situation to Shinji. But it looked like everyone hated him to much to evan bother to talk to him.

Yeah I know what you mean. I think Misato was more angry about the Eva than Shinji, because Misato didn't evan know what the Evas were at the time either. And when 3rd impact started, Misato saw that Unit-1 looked like Adam when 2nd impact started.
Who knows? Maybe the creaters of Evangelion will do something like StarWars. You know, make movies Four, Five, and Six, then go back and make One, Two, and Three. They have to finish what is happening in 4.0, but they could make one or two movies about the time they skiped from Two. Two Two - Three. Three Three.

I have new questions. So Seele has the dead sea scrolls, right? And the scrolls tell when the Angels will attack?

i have trouble finding time for colors now, been playing too much PC games haha

I never understood seele well but i guess the scrolls are like a script or prediction of what is going to happen.
my crazy guess is that they know when angels appear because the scrolls are from an earlier repeat each time, and they are surprised to find out that they change each time.

I thought so, ok. My question is, do you think Gendo did something to Unit-0 to make it go haywire? I think he did, because he got Shinji to go to Tokyo 3 the day the third angel attacked. ( Forth angel in the movies) And when Shinji said no to piloting Rei just happend to be sereously injured, making Shinji feel guilty. Also Unit-0 worked every other time they needed it. ( Exept when Shinji was in Unit-0 and it went crazy, but I forgot what happend after that. But I think it helped Gendo some how.) What do you think?

Ok so in 3.33, A$uka seems angry at Shinji. At first you think she is angry at him for starting 3rd impact, but in different parts of the movies it seems like she might just be angry because Shinji and Rei left her behind for Fourteen years. ( Because Shinji was in the entry plug, and Rei is in the Eva like Shinji's mom ) So do you think A$uka has a crush on Shinji and thats why she's angry? Or is she angry because Shinji started Third impact? ( Keep in mind that A$UKA asked Shinji to kiss her in the show )

I think you're pretty much right about that, I think she says this under her breathe so Shinji couldn't hear her, at some point in the film. And if she truly hated him, she wouldn't have picked him up at the end.

At the start of the third movie ( while A$uka and Mari are in space ) you see the "Blood type blue" warning, if preordered 3.33, I guess you get a little book that gives info about the Evas, Characters, and Angels. ( I didn't get it ) But it says that the "Angel" that attacked A$uka in space was Unit-4. What do think thats all about? Unit-4 blew up while experimenting with an S-Two engine.

Remember the scene in the tv series when Shinji builds a sand pyramid with other kids? I did that at the beach today. ( Without the other kids though.) XD

3DS users can see comments from a Pc, the 3DS will open an internet browser that goes to your profile on the Colors! 3D website with your drawing. I think the 3DS can't comment on drawings from the internet browser though. Let me know what you think about the manga, I have one question about the manga and the movies.

I can use my pc if I need to, so its fine. In the manga I read, Shinji meets A$uka and Kaworu as a little kid at about the same time. And Rei is a transfer student. I read Angelic Days. Maybe that's one of the other Evangelion mangas.

Ah, it's a different one. Pretty weird. o-o They all go to a school, Ritsuko is a nurse, Misato their teacher, etcetera. And one night Shinji is walking home or something and sees Rei and Kaworu fighting something. Still angels, but they look like people. I don't know if there are EVA units. Looks I'll have to find Angelic Days though. :P

Angelic Days starts out the same way, except for Rei and Kaworu fighting something. Almost the same as the 5-min. animated version in episode 26. Which one are you reading? I'll read it later this week. You can read Angelic Days at Manga Reader.
