my theory is that this is Luna's mom and the baby is Luna and the missing person is Luna's dad ( lol I'm probably wrong)

@_Froggie_ This is actually Ruby's mom/Luna's grandma and the other person is the king of heck/Ruby's dad but when Ruby's mom died when she was 8, the king was overwhelmed with greif that he left Ruby alone for 9 years intil the others found her.
Also spoiler, the main antagonist is the king.
