How about something like the Tree of Might? It would be a worthwhile investment.

The Tree of Might was the main plot of the third Dragonball Z movie, which was titled the same name, the movie's plot was basically Goku and the Z-Fighters trying to stop the Saiyan Turles from using the Earth to grow the Tree of Might, which siphons the life-force of a planet to grow and produce its fruit, which can give a substantial power boost when eaten. The more life the planet has the more power the fruit will yield.
