any half-wit with a DS can plagiarise someone elses artwork and trace over it. It looks like you even swatched the colors directly from Darren Frodsham's original. That there are 46 gullible idiots browsing the Colors! Gallery is nothing to be proud of.
Well said naughty just shows they dont watch the playbacks its gutting that something like this tops the likes of yourself, Karel DH, Gaz Bell and anyone else who puts there heart into art rather than this tracing shite :o/
This was an amazing picture... for the person who drew it originally. Stasko, you have obviously used the well-known background image trick, using Photoshop or similar.
Do it, enjoy it, learn from it... but do not attempt to pass it off as your own work. PLUS I think you'll find Naughty's comments are honest and from the heart, sometimes they come off rude. Most artists apreciate critique.
@paperpasserLongLive - on a DS you can load ANY image into Colors! and simply draw over the top of it, exactly like a child does with tracing paper. It's even lamer still because you can even colour-pick your colours directly from the source image too. This takes no talent or skill, not to mention the fact that it's basically art theft. Copying someone elses stuff is arguably fine, everyone knows this is Matt G's artwork, and Stasko didn't come up with it, but it's the tracing we can't abide, and anyone with half a brain can tell the difference between something drawn by hand or directly traced.
