As a fellow writer and artist, I can totally understand the need to rewrite your stories; I have one that I have been working on for nine years and have rewritten three times, but an still not quite satisfied with! So I get it! Do what you, as the author, feel you need to do.
However, as a reader who loves your story, I must say I am quite attached to your characters and hope you don't remove any! :
