It seems manga original monsters have been my go to alternative to drawing them who are associated with a main characters (well except for Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon). Zubaba General debuted on the Zexal's other manga adaptation called D Team Zexal. Sadly, no one bothered uploading scans for the rest of the chapters other than the first.
