Eri was born in a meadow, surrounded by some woodland creatures. His mother, a goddess, had nurtured him and took care of him as best as she could. She couldn't stay with him, however. Something was going on in their realm, and she needed to be there.
Before she departed, she left her baby at the doorstep of a human house. (cont.)

A man named Zack, a woodcutter, saw the child, and took him in. As Eri became a bit older, the boy enjoyed following Zack to the forest to go woodcutting. He loved to play while his "father" chopped trees. The animals always seemed to like him as well. ^^
Going to the towns to sell the wood was a different story. (cont.)

The kids usually make fun of him being quiet around them, and always call him 'woodchips' do to some wood shavings he gets from helping Zack. His pops says there's worse than things in the world than brats with nothing better to do than bothering a nice kid like him. He doesn't leave his side while in town.
Eri hasn't realized his powers yet. But he will. One day..
